Maryam Sanda the mother of two who killed her husband Biliaminu Bello at their Abuja home has been convicted on Monday the 27th of January 2020.
The defendant who attempted to flee the court room through an exit door was reportedly crying bitterly and in agony after the ruling by the judge sentencing her to death by hanging.
Sanda reportedly stabbed her husband over allegations of infidelity following a text message she saw on his phone from the said mistress.
Before his demise, Haliru was a real estate developer and son of former PDP chairman Haliru Bello.
